Objectives
THE COURSE PROVIDES AN OVERVIEW OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT. IT AIMS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS THE BASICS CONCEPTS OF HOW COMPANIES WORK, ALSO INVESTIGATING THE SPECIFIC PROBLEMS CONCERNING THE FUNCTIONING OF SOME MANAGEMENT AREAS.
THE COURSE WILL ALLOW THE STUDENT TO KNOW THE MAIN THEORIES AND THE MAIN TECHNIQUES RELATED TO THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE TYPICAL STRATEGIC AND TACTIC MANAGERIAL ISSUES. TO THIS END THE TYPICAL ISSUES RELATED TO THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS: PLANNING / PROGRAMMING, MARKETING, ORGANIZATIONAL AND FINANCIAL, WILL BE DEEPENED. THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED WILL BE USEFUL TO OPERATE WITHIN COMPANIES IN OPERATIONAL ROLES.

JUDGMENT AUTONOMY
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO EVALUATE THE STRATEGIC, MARKETING, ORGANIZATIONAL, AND PROGRAMMING AND CONTROL CHOICES CARRIED OUT BY THE COMPANY.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO PRESENT AND COMMUNICATE THE RESULTS OF HIS WORK WITHIN THE COMPANY (DOCUMENTAL ANALYSIS, REPORTING, CONTROL, ETC.), AS WELL AS TO COMMUNICATE, IN A CLEAR AND EFFECTIVE WAY, WITH THE TOP MANAGEMENT AND THE ENTREPRENEUR.

ABILITY TO LEARN
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY SOLUTIONS WITH RESPECT TO SPECIFIC PROBLEMS, DEEPENING KNOWLEDGE THROUGH THE SEARCH FOR THE MOST SUITABLE SOURCES. THE STUDY CARRIED OUT CONSTITUTES THE METHODOLOGICAL SYSTEM ON WHICH THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUBSEQUENT DISCIPLINARY IN-DEPTH STUDIES COULD BE PLACED.
Prerequisites
THE STUDENT MUST HAVE ACQUIRED BASIC KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD OF BUSINESS ECONOMICS.

4) BUSINESS APPLICATIONS AND OPERATIVE TECHNIQUES (10 HOURS)
Teaching Methods
THE COURSE PROVIDES 60 HOURS (10 CFU) OF FRONTAL LESSONS.
DURING THE COURSE BOTH THEORETICAL LESSONS AND EMPIRICAL SESSIONS WILL BE APPLIED. THE AIM IS TO RESOLVE SPECIFIC PROBLEMS OF MANAGEMENT.
Verification of learning
VERIFICATION OF LEARNING WILL BE MADE WITH FINAL EXAMINATION. FINAL EVALUATION WILL BE ON A SCALE OF THIRTY. FINAL EXAMINATION WILL BE ARTICULATED IN A WRITTEN TEST, WHICH FOLLOWS AN ORAL INTERVIEW.
