Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO DEVELOP STUDENTS' ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS AND ATTITUDES, MANAGERIAL VALUES AND MOTIVATION, USEFUL TO ACQUIRE RELATIONAL AND NETWORKING CAPABILITIES; CREATIVITY AND INTUITION; TRANSVERSAL SKILLS; KNOWLEDGE OF INSTITUTIONAL INITIATIVES AIMED AT ENCOURAGING ENTREPRENEURSHIP. STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO ACQUIRE THE BASIC ELEMENTS OF THE ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET: CREATIVITY, INITIATIVE SPIRIT, RISK TAKING, AUTONOMY, SELF-CONFIDENCE, LEADERSHIP, TEAM SPIRIT.
THE COURSE AIMS TO TRAIN STUDENTS TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP, IN ORDER TO REINFORCE IN THEM THEIR OWN "ENTREPRENEURIAL AWARENESS" AND EXPAND THEIR PERCEPTION AND VISION OF INSTITUTIONAL AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC REALITY. THE PURPOSE IS TO STIMULATE STUDENTS’ ENTREPRENEURIAL AND MANAGERIAL MENTALITY, SO THAT THEY MAY MANAGE THEIR OWN LIFE PROJECT AND CREATE NEW IDEAS, IMPLEMENTING THEM IN A WAY TO CREATE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL VALUES. THIS STEP COMES IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE ACQUISITION OF TECHNICAL SKILLS FOR EVALUATING NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND BUSINESS CREATION IN THE INNOVATIVE SECTORS.
STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO OVERCOME THE GAP BETWEEN THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE, PLAYING AN ACTIVE ROLE; TO MOVE WITH FLEXIBILITY BETWEEN ANALYTICAL AND CREATIVE THINKING, THAT IS, BETWEEN THE RIGOR OF QUANTITATIVE STRATEGIC ANALYSES - THE AIM OF WHICH IS TO MASTER RIGOROUS ANALYTICAL PROCESSES - AND THE PRIMACY OF A CREATIVE INSTINCT - CONSIDERED A SOURCE OF REAL INNOVATION. IN THE MIDDLE IS PLACED INTUITIVE THINKING, THE ART OF KNOWLEDGE WITHOUT REASONING, THE WORLD OF THE ORIGINALITY AND INVENTION.
STUDENTS WILL DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO PLAN AND ORGANIZE PROJECTS WITH REFERENCE TO THE ACHIEVEMENT OF PREDETERMINED GOALS.

Teaching Methods
THE COURSE PROVIDES 60 DIDACTIC HOURS BETWEEN LECTURES, ANALYSES OF CASE STUDIES, TESTIMONIALS, WORK GROUPS (10 CFU). PARTICULARLY, 40 HOURS OF FRONTAL LESSONS ARE PLANNED ON ALL THE TOPICS OF THE COURSE, THEY TAKE PLACE WITH THE PROJECTIONS AID; 10 HOURS DEDICATED TO TESTIMONIALS TO VERIFY THE THEORETICAL ASPECTS IN THE BUSINESS PRACTICE, 10 HOURS BETWEEN CASE STUDIES AND WORK GROUPS.
Verification of learning
THE AIMS OF THE TEACHING IS CERTIFIED BY PASSING AN EXAM WITH EVALUATION IN THIRTIETHS. THE EXAM CONSISTS OF AN ORAL EXAM.
THE ORAL EXAM IS AN INTERVIEW WITH QUESTIONS AND DISCUSSION ON THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENTS INDICATED IN THE TEACHING PROGRAM AND IS AIMED AT ASCERTAINING THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ACHIEVED BY THE STUDENT, AS WELL AS VERIFYING THE ABILITY TO EXHIBIT USING THE APPROPRIATE TERMINOLOGY AND THE ABILITY OF AUTONOMOUS ORGANIZATION OF THE EXPOSURE ON THE SAME TOPICS.
