"HISTORY OF ANCIENT PHILOSOPHY MOD. A-B" WILL FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING CONTENT:
A) INTRODUCTION TO PLATO'S PHILOSOPHY (10 HOURS); THE NATURE OF KNOWLEDGE IN PLATO (20 HOURS).
B) THE NATURE OF KNOWLEDGE IN PLATO ON THE BASIS OF CRATYLUS AND THE ALLEGORY OF THE CAVE (30 HOURS).

THE COURSE CONSISTS OF 30 HOURS OF LECTURES
Verification of learning
THE EXAM CONSISTS OF AN ORAL EXAMINATION WHICH AIMS TO ASCERTAIN STUDENT'S PREPARATION AND HIS CAPABILITY TO USE THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE HISTORY OF LATE-ANCIENT PHILOSOPHY. PARTICULAR ATTENTION WILL BE PAID TO STUDENT'S EXPOSITION SKILLS AND TO HIS CAPABILITY TO ANSWER IN A CLEAR AND PRECISE WAY IN ORDER TO SHOW HIS ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE IN TERMS OF CONTENT AND METHOD.
