Objectives
THE TEACHING AIMS TO ADDRESS CRITICALLY THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EDUCATION AND SOCIETY IN ORDER TO PROMOTE, ALSO THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE EPISTEMOLOGICAL FRAMEWORK OF THE DISCIPLINE, A VISION OF SOCIAL PEDAGOGY AS A PRACTICAL SCIENCE THAT LEADS TO ANALYZE AND PROBLEMATIZE CONDITIONS (FREEDOM, RESPONSIBILITY, COEXISTENCE, DEMOCRACY, LEGALITY, ETC.) THAT FAVOR A GOOD SOCIAL LIFE.
EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: knowing and analyzing the educational needs of society through the theoretical and methodological principles of Social Pedagogy.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: to be able to apply the knowledge acquired to analyze and interpret social contexts; knowing how to evaluate, monitor, plan and verify in social contexts; knowing how to apply the knowledge acquired through the theory-practice paradigm in an autonomous and critical way.

KNOWLEDGE OF THE FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS OF HUMAN SCIENCES AND ABILITY TO MAKE INTERDISCIPLINARY LINKS.

THE EPISTEMOLOGICAL FRAMEWORK OF SOCIAL PEDAGOGY; THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EDUCATION AND SOCIETY; SOCIAL PEDAGOGY AS A PRACTICAL SCIENCE; EDUCATIONAL ACTING IN SOCIAL CONTEXTS, RELATIONSHIPS IN COMMUNITIES, NEUROSCIENTIFIC ASPECTS OF SOCIAL PEDAGOGY WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE FIGURE OF THE EDUCATOR IN SCHOOL AND HOSPITAL CONTEXTS. ADOLESCENCE AND SOCIETY.
