1) GENERAL OBJECTIVE

2) KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
THE STUDENT MUST UNDERSTAND HOW A PHILOSOPHICAL DISCOURSE IS ORGANIZED. HE MUST LEARN TO RECOGNIZE ITS ARGUMENTATIVE STRUCTURE AND THE ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS THAT MAKE IT EFFECTIVE BOTH WITHIN THE DISCIPLINE AND WITH RESPECT TO OTHER FORMS OF KNOWLEDGE.

3) ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
THE STUDENT MUST MASTER THE MAIN ARGUMENTATIVE MODELS OF A PHILOSOPHICAL THEORY. ON THIS BASIS HE MUST BE ABLE TO APPLY SUCH MODELS, ELABORATING HIMSELF A DISCOURSE ALSO IN WRITTEN FORM, WITH PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO ITS LOGICAL AND RHETORICAL, DIALECTICAL AND PERFORMATIVE ASPECTS.
4) AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT

IN THIS WAY HE WILL DEVELOP A GREATER CRITICAL AWARENESS OF THE TOOLS AND OBJECTIVES OF PHILOSOPHICAL WORK.
5) COMMUNICATION SKILLS
THE STUDENT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE SUFFICIENT KNOWLEDGE OF THE FORMS OF ARGUMENTATION AND ORGANIZATION OF PHILOSOPHICAL DISCOURSE. THIS WILL FORM THE BASIS FOR TRANSFORMING KNOWLEDGE INTO ACTIVE SKILLS TO BE COMMUNICATED AND APPLIED IN DIFFERENT CONTEXTS, ALSO THANKS TO THE USE OF DIGITAL TOOLS AND MEDIA PLATFORMS.
6) LEARNING SKILLS
THE STUDENT MUST BE ABLE TO USE TRADITIONAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL BIBLIOGRAPHIC TOOLS TO CARRY OUT RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS, KNOWING HOW TO APPROPRIATELY IDENTIFY AND INTERPRET THE TEXTS AND CULTURAL HERITAGE AVAILABLE. ON THIS BASIS HE WILL BE ABLE TO CARRY OUT THE "LIFELONG LEARNING" ENVISAGED BY ADVANCED SOCIETIES.
