Objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION ABILITY: PHYSICS OF STARS, PLANETS, GALAXIES AND COSMOLOGY. FROM THE ELEMENTARY PHYSICAL PROCESSES TO THE INTERPRETATION OF OBSERVATIONS AND MODELS IN ASTROPHYSICS AND COSMOLOGY.

ABILITY OF APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION: BASIC INSTRUMENTS FOR THE COMPREHENSION OF THE PROCESSES. ABILITY TO SINGLE OUT THE RIGHT MECHANISMS TO JUSTIFY THE OBSERVED EFFECTS.

JUDGMENT AUTONOMY: CRITICAL VISION OF ASTROPHYSICAL AND COSMOLOGICAL MODELS. COMPARATION OF OBSERVATIONAL DATA AND MODEL TESTING. STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO MAKE INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION ON THE TOPICS IN ORDER TO BUILD THEIR OWN VISION.

COMMUNICATION ABILITY: CONTINUOUS DIALOGUE ON ASTROPHYSICS PROBLEMS. THE FINAL INTERVIEW HAS THE PURPOSE OF INVITING THE STUDENTS TO AN IMPROVEMENT OF THEIR CAPACITY OF PRESENTATION OF A SUBJECT.

LEARNING ABILITY: THE RESULTS OF THE LECTURES ARE VERIFIED BY A CONTINUOUS DIALOGUE AND BY THE REFERENCES TO PREVIOUSLY TREATED TOPICS.
