KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION ABILITY: THE COURSE INTENDS TO PROVIDE AN EXHAUSTING SURVEY OF MODERN ASTROPHYSICS AND COSMOLOGY BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COMPLETE DICTIONARY FOR THE COMPREHENSION OF ALL PHENOMENA OBSERVED IN OUR UNIVERSE. ABILITY OF APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION: THE DESCRIPTION OF PHENOMENA WILL INCLUDE ALL PHYSICAL AND MATHEMATICAL TOOLS TO MAKE THE STUDENT UNDERSTAND THE FUNDAMENTAL MECHANISMS AT WORK BEHIND THE OBSERVED PHENOMENA. JUDGMENT AUTONOMY: ASTROPHYSICS IS A FIELD IN CONTINUOUS EVOLUTION, IN WHICH AN ESSENTIAL ROLE IS PLAYED BY THE COMPARISON BETWEEN OBSERVATIONAL DATA AND PREDICTIONS BY THEORETICAL MODELS. BY UNDERLINING VIRTUES AND VICES OF INDIVIDUAL MODELS, STUDENTS ARE INVITED TO DEVELOP THEIR OWN CRITICAL ABILITY. COMMUNICATION ABILITY: THE FINAL INTERVIEW HAS THE PURPOSE OF INVITING THE STUDENTS TO AN IMPROVEMENT OF THEIR CAPACITY OF PRESENTATION OF A SUBJECT. LEARNING ABILITY: THE RESULTS OF THE LECTURES ARE VERIFIED BY A CONTINUOUS DIALOGUE AND BY THE REFERENCES TO PREVIOUSLY TREATED TOPICS. |
