KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF SEISMOLOGY TO UNDERSTAND THE PHYSICAL PROCESSES THAT GENERATE EARTHQUAKES, IN ORDER TO DEVELOP IDEAS ON THE STUDY OF SEISMIC PHENOMENA. APPLIED KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: STUDENTS MUST OBTAIN ADEQUATE TECHNICAL EXPERTISE ON SEISMIC OBSERVATION AND EARTHQUAKES MEASUREMENT, ON THE ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF EXPERIMENTAL MEASURES OF SISMOLOGICAL TYPE. MAKING JUDGEMENT: STUDENTS MUST SHOW ABILITY TO LEARN WITH CRITICAL SENSE THE METHODS OF ANALYSIS ACQUIRED FOR VARIOUS SEISMOLOGICAL TOPICS, EVALUATING ITS APPLICABILITY AND FUNCTIONALITY. THEY WILL HAVE TO ENRICH YOUR KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPING SELF-ASSESSMENT CAPACITY, DEALING WITH DIFFERENT SOURCES. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: ACQUISITION OF APPROPRIATE COMMUNICATION SKILLS OF PROPOSALS RELATIVE TO SEISMOLOGICAL PROBLEMS, WITH RESPECT TO SPECIALISTS AND NOT SPECIALISTS SUBSCRIBERS. THE STUDENTS WILL HAVE TO HIGHLIGHT THE IMPLICATIONS OF THEIR CHOICES, MOTIVATING CLEARLY WITH CAPACITY OF MEDIATION AND SYNTHESIS, DEVELOPED IN WORKING GROUP LEARNING SKILL: DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING SKILLS LIKELY TO BE ABLE TO DEVELOP ON THEIR OWN, FOCUS ON STANDARD AND INNOVATIVE SEISMOLOGICAL METHODS |
