THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE, IN A WAY CONCISE AND SUITABLE FOR APPLICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE OF THE BASICS AND APPLICATIONS OF NUCLEAR AND SUBNUCLEAR PHYSICS. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: THE COURSE PROVIDES A WIDE AND DEEP PICTURE OF THE CURRENT KNOWLEDGE AND RESEARCH FIELDS IN HIGH-ENERGY PHYSICS. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WORK OUT EXERCISES OR EXAMPLES UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE TEACHER. THEY ARE ALSO STIMULATED TO GO THROUGH THE PROCESS OF CONCEPT DESIGN FOR HIGH-ENERGY EXPERIMENTS. |
