LEARNING OUTCOMES AND COMPETENCE TO BE ACQUIRED: TO LEARN, THROUGH THE BALANCED STUDY OF GEOMETRICAL MODELS OF THREE-DIMENSIONAL SPACE, THE TECHNICAL DRAWING'S FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF THE TECHNICAL DRAWING; TO ACQUIRE THE ABILITY TO EXPRESS IN CORRECT TERMS, AND TO GRAPHICALLY REPRESENT, THE CHARACTERISTIC ELEMENTS OF THE CIVIL ENGINEERING. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: UNDERSTANDING THE USED TERMINOLOGY IN CONCEPTUAL, LOGICAL AND PHYSICAL MODELS, OF THE GRAPHIC REPRESENTATION, OF THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGIES, OF THE FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS OF ARCHITECTURAL GRAPHIC LANGUAGE. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: KNOWING HOW TO DEVELOP, ACCORDING TO ENCODED CONVENTIONAL NORMS, GRAPHICAL MODELS OF CIVIL AND TERRITORIAL ENGINEERING. MAKING JUDGEMENTS: KNOWING HOW TO IDENTIFY THE MOST APPROPRIATE METHODS FOR DRAWING CONSTRUCTIVE ELEMENTS OF CIVIL ENGINEERING, OPTIMIZING THE REPRESENTATION PROCESS ACCORDING TO THE ANALYZED CONTEXT. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: ABILITY TO WORK IN A TEAM AND TO VERBALLY AND GRAPHICALLY EXPLAIN AN ARGUMENT RELATED TO THE DISCUSSED TOPICS. THE COURSE PROVIDES LESSONS, EXERCISES AND LABORATORY ACTIVITIES IN THE CLASSROOM. DURING THE EXERCISES IN THE CLASSROOM, STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PROCESS DRAWINGS RELATED WITH THE THEORETICAL ARGUMENTS AND THEMES FROM TIME TO TIME SHOWN DURING THE LESSONS. IN THE LABORATORIES THEY MUST ACQUIRE KNOWLEDGE OF THE INFOGRAPHIC REPRESENTATION’S EQUIPMENT (HARDWARE AND COMMON SOFTWARE). |
Verification of learning | |

AT MID COURSE (JANUARY-FEBRUARY) WILL BE HELD AN ONGOING GRAPHICS TEST WITH PURPOSE OF EVALUATION BY THE STUDENTS. THE ASSESSMENT OF THE FIXED GOALS' ACHIEVEMENT WILL HAPPEN AT THE END OF THE COURSE, BY MEANS OF A FINAL GRAPHICAL TEST AND AN ORAL EXAM, CENTERED ON DISCUSSION OF DRAWINGS PERFORMED ON THE PRACTICE ISSUES. |
