EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES THE COURSE INTRODUCES THE PRINCIPLES, STRATEGIES AND THE METODOL METHODOLOGIES AT THE BASE OF THE PIAN THESES OF INTERVENTIONS ON THE TRANSPORT SYSTEM. AFTER AN ANALYSIS OF THE CONTENTS OF THE MAIN PLANNING DOCUMENTS (A NATIONAL, REGIONAL AND LOCAL LEVEL) ARE ANALYZED TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES THAT NEED TO BE CONDUCTED FOR THE PROCESSING OF THE DOCUMENTS OF THE PLAN, AND ARE INTRODUCED TOOLS BASIC MODELING FOR THE SIMULATION OF A TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM AND FOR THE EVALUATION OF INTERVENTION OPTIONS. EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS (1) KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING (KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING) PHASES AND ACTIVITIES OF THE PLANNING PROCESS, CHARACTERIZATION OF A TRANSPORT SYSTEM, METHODS FOR THE SIMULATION OF THE COMPONENTS OF A TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM ELEMENTARY METHODS FOR THE EVALUATION OF INTERVENTION OPTIONS ON A TRANSPORT SYSTEM. IN PARTICULAR: - PRINCIPLES, STRATEGIES AND METHODLOGIES FOR TRANSPORTATION PLANNING - UNDERSTANDING OF NATIONAL NORMS AND OF TRANSPORTAION PLANNING DOCUMENTS - ELEMENTARY METHODLOGIES FOR TRASPORTATION SYSTEM MODELLING (2) KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY OF UNDERSTANDING APPLIED (APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING) TO KNOW HOW TO READ, INTERPRET, AND WRITE A DOCUMENT OF TRANSPORT PLANNING. IMPLEMENT ELEMENTARY MODELS FOR THE SIMULATION OF THE COMPONENTS OF A TRANSPORT SYSTEM. (3) INDEPENDENCE OF JUDGMENT (MAKING JUDGEMENTS) TO KNOW HOW TO IDENTIFY THE STRATEGIES AND POLICIES OF INTERVENTION WHICH IS MORE EFFECTIVE ON A TRANSPORT SYSTEM AND THE METHODS FOR THE SIMULATION OF ITS COMPONENTS. (4) COMMUNICATION SKILLS (COMMUNICATION SKILLS) TO BE ABLE TO WORK IN GROUP AND EXPOSE ORALLY A DOCUMENT OF TRANSPORT PLANNING. (5) ABILITY TO LEARN (LEARNING SKILLS) TO KNOW HOW TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED IN DIFFERENT CONTEXTS THAN THOSE PRESENTED IN THE COURSE, AND DEEPEN THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF THE TOPICS TREATED BY USING MATERIALS OTHER THAN THOSE PROPOSED |

THE TEACHING INCLUDES LECTURES AND EXERCISES IN HOUSE (48 CFU). THE TUTORIALS CONSIST OF ACTIVITIES SEMINAR WITH PRESENTATION OF PLANNING DOCUMENTS AND APPLICATION EXAMPLES OFFERED BY EXPERTS IN THE FIELD (12 CFU). THE FREQUENCY RATE MUST BE GRATER THAN 70% |

WRITTEN TEST PLUS ORAL TALK THE TEST WILL BE HELD AT THE AND OF THE COURSE THE WRITTEN TEST CONSISTS IN FOUR QUESTIONS SAMPLES FROM ALL THE POSSIBLE TOPICS ADDRESSED DURING THE COURSE THE TEST WILL LAST 1 HOUR THE ACHIEVEMENT IS EXPRESSED BY A SCORE IN THE RANGE [0-30]; THE MINIMUM FOR PASSING THE EXAM IS 18, FOR SUFFICIENT LEVEL AND QUALITY, THE MAXIMUM IS 30, FOR VERY GOOD LEVEL AND QUALITY; THE SCORE 30 "WITH HONORS" IS ATTRIBUTED TO STUDENTS, REACHING THE MAXIMUM VOTE OF 30, WHO SHOW EXCELLENT LEVEL AND QUALITY AND SHOW THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO APPLY THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS BEYOND THE CONTEXTS OF LESSONS LEARNED. |
