|Knowledge and understanding|
During their training, the students will become familiar with the working life, through the use of one or more of scientific research methods, laboratory procedures or study of a production process. The experience allows the students to practically apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during their training.
Applying knowledge and understanding – engineering analysis:
Knowing how to apply the concepts learnt during the courses to the working life; knowing how to analyze the results of an experimental campaign
Applied knowledge and understanding applied - engineering design
Knowing how to identify the most appropriate methods to efficiently solve a practical laboratory or production problem.
Making judgments - engineering practice
Knowing how to apply the knowledge gained during the courses to an industrial or a laboratory contexts.
Transversal skills - communication skills
Knowing how to interact with people working in companies or laboratories by using the correct terminology
Transversal skills - ability to learn
Ability to apply knowledge in different situations than those presented in the course and ability to refine own knowledge
|The activities and contents depend on the hosting firm or laboratory. Typically, the student carries out the same activities he would perform in the same working environment after graduation.|

|If the training is carried out in a Company: Report written by the student and Written judgment by the Company and University tutors. If the training is carried out in a Laboratory at University: Written judgment by the University tutor.|
