Objectives
EDUCATIONAL GOALS
THE NEED FOR TWO ANNUALITY COURSE OF TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE DERIVES FROM THE COMPLEXITY OF THE BUILDING PROCESS, HAVING CONSIDERED THE ENTIRE CYCLE OF BUILDING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION. IF THE COURSE OF TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE I FOCUSES BASIC PROBLEMS AND THE RULES AND PROVIDES THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE BUILDING SYSTEM, THE COURSE OF TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE II COMPLETES THE TRAINING OF STUDENTS WITH ISSUES ADDRESSED IN TERMS OF DETAILED KNOWLEDGE.
IT FOCUSES THE EFFECTIVE CAPABILITY IN THE USE OF TRADITIONAL AND INNOVATIVE TECHNIQUES, CONSTRUCTIVE SYSTEMS, BUILDING MATERIALS, ENERGY SAVING PROBLEMS, ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS.
THE TECHNOLOGY IS INTENDED TO MEET THE NEEDS, AS DEFINED IN TERMS OF REQUIREMENTS, PERFORMANCES, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL COMFORT, DURABILITY, DÉCOR, QUALITY AND BEAUTY.

THE GOAL IS TO EDUCATED THE STUDENT IN THE AWARENESS AND IN UNDERSTANDING OF THE PROBLEMS OF THE DESIGN AND THE CONSTRUCTION.
Prerequisites
PREREQUISITES
THE COURSE REQUIRES KNOWLEDGE OF BASIC BUILDING TECHNOLOGIES, OF THEIR REPRESENTATION TO THE VARIOUS SCALES AND BUILDING MATERIALS; THE DESIGN OF DETAIL, THE TECHNOLOGICAL CULTURE OF DESIGN, AIMED TO THE CONSTRUCTION. THEY CAN NOT, ANY WAY, BE CONSIDERED APART FROM THE HISTORICAL KNOWLEDGE OF ARCHITECTURE.

COURSE CONTENTS
CYCLE CONCEPT OF BUILDING: DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, RECOVERY, CONSERVATION AND DEMOLITION, MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT. SIMULATING AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE BUILDING PROCESS.
THE EXECUTIVE PROJECT WITH FULL CONSTRUCTION DETAILS, THE PURPOSE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A BUILDING EX NOVO OR THE RECOVERY OF OLD BUILDING (CHURCHES, BUILDINGS, FACTORIES, ETC.)

STUDY OF BUILDING MATERIALS AND TECHNICAL BASIC ELEMENTS USED.
CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS
APPROPRIATED DESIGN CHOICES. DERIVED FROM VARIOUS FACTORS SUCH AS NATURE, AIM, GENIUS LOCI, ENVIRONMENT, RULES ASPECTS, URBAN, AND PROTECTION RESTRINCTION SYSTEM, EVALUATIONS AND ECONOMIC ASPECTS, ETC.
Teaching Methods
TEACHING METHODS
THE TEACHING PROVIDES LESSONS AND EXERCISES IN THE CLASSROOM. DURING EXERCISE IN THE CLASSROOM STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO DEAL WITH THE TOPICS TREATED DURING THE LESSONS.
Verification of learning
ASSESSMENT METHODS
HALF COURSE (JANUARY-FEBRUARY) A TEST WILLN BE HOLD ON ONGOING TOPICS.
THE FINAL EXAME WILL TEST THE PREPARATION AND THROUGH THE DISCUSSION OF TOPICS.
