Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH A SOCIOLOGICAL READING OF MEDIA BY INVESTIGATING (FROM A THEORETICAL, HISTORICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE) THE JUNCTION BETWEEN CLASSICAL AND DIGITAL MEDIA. THE GOAL IS TWOFOLD: TO DEFINE A TRANS-MEDIA READING PLAN AND BRING THE EPOCHAL TRANSITION FROM "CLASSIC" TO DIGITAL FORMS CLOSER.
STARTING FROM A CONSTANT OBSERVATION OF CONTEMPORANEITY, THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE LIVELY PULSE OF THE MEDIA AND THEIR CONTINUOUS HYBRIDIZATION AND REINVENTING THEMSELVES, PAYING PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO CONSUMPTION FLOWS, TO THE FORMS OF EXPERIMENTATION,
TO THE AUDIENCE, TO THE NEW SKILLS IN THE FIELD AND TO THE BECOMING OF "BECOMING MEDIA" IN THE TIME OF CONTINUOUS CONNECTION
THE COURSE WILL PROVIDE PRECISE TOOLS FOR INVESTIGATION AND REFLECTION THAT CAN BE APPLIED IN THE ANALYSIS OF THE COMPLEXITY OF THE MEDIA. THE STUDENT WILL DEVELOP A GREATER SENSITIVITY AND AN INCREASINGLY PUNCTUAL ABILITY TO READ IN GENERAL MEDIA.
THE STUDENT WILL ACQUIRE A THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FRAMEWORK THAT WILL ALLOW HIM TO AUTONOMOUSLY INTERPRET A VARIETY OF PHENOMENA FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF MEDIA DYNAMICS.
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE HIS KNOWLEDGE AT DIFFERENT LEVELS (BOTH TO AN AUDIENCE OF EXPERTS AND TO ONE OF NON-SPECIALISTS), EXPRESSING THEM WITH SPECIFIC LANGUAGE PROPERTIES AND LEXICAL SKILLS, AND USING THE MOST APPROPRIATE REGISTER FOR EACH CIRCUMSTANCE.
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND AND INTERPRET COMPLEX TEXTS AND USE BIBLIOGRAPHIC TOOLS, BOTH TRADITIONAL AND IT, TO IDENTIFY AND SELECT THE SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE USEFUL FOR INCREASING THEIR KNOWLEDGE.

Contents
SOCIAL MEDIA, VIDEOGAME, MASS CULTURE. EVOLUTION OF THE MEDIA AND MUSIC (BETWEEN CREATIVE PROCESSES, CONTAMINATIONS AND DIGITAL CULTURES). IN SPECIFIC SPECIFICATION FOUR ASPECTS ARE INVESTIGATED: 1) THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL MEDIA; 2) THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LITERATURE AND DIGITAL MEDIA; 3) MUSICA 4) THE IMAGE
Teaching Methods
TEACHING INCLUDES LECTURES AND EXERCISES. ESPECIALLY ON THE SUBJECT OF LITERARY REMEDIATION. TEACHING WILL THEREFORE BE DEVELOPED THROUGH FRONTAL LESSONS, EXERCISES, SEMINARS, AUDIOVISUAL PROJECTIONS.
Verification of learning
AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE ORAL EXAMINATION WILL ALLOW THE ASSESSMENT OF THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE. ADDITIONALLY, EXAMINERS WILL HAVE TO DISCUSS A CRITICAL WORK ON A SPECIFIC TOPIC BY THE EXAMINER.
