Objectives
KNOWLEDGE RELATING TO THE HISTORICAL EVOLUTION OF PSYCHOMOTRICITY AND TO DIFFERENT TEACHING THEORIES AND METHODOLOGIES. UNDERSTANDING CONTEXTS, METHODS AND TEACHING WILL BE FACILITATED ALSO THROUGH VARIOUS EXEMPLIFICATIONS WHILE BASIC SKILLS WILL BE ACQUIRED THROUGH LABORATORY ACTIVITIES.
A SIGNIFICANT LEARNING OBJECTIVE IS THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE ROLE OF THE EDUCATOR, THE STRATEGIES AND TEACHING METHODS, THE RELEVANCE OF THE ENVIRONMENTS, FORMAL AND INFORMAL, OF THE STRUCTURED AND NON-STRUCTURED TEACHING MATERIALS.
Prerequisites
THE PREREQUISITE IS TO HAVE PREFERABLY PASSED THE EXAMINATION OF THEORY AND METHODOLOGY OF THE HUMAN MOVEMENT.
Contents
IN THE INITIAL PHASE OF THE COURSE, THE EDUCATOR'S COMPETENCES IN THE MOTOR AREA WILL BE DISCUSSED AND A RECONSTRUCTION OF THE HISTORICAL EVOLUTION OF PSYCHOMOTOR THEORIES AND PRACTICES WILL BE PRESENTED, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE, TO THE ROLE OF PSYCHOMOTRICITY IN FAVORING A SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT CHILDHOOD. THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE MOTOR AREA IN THE SCHOOL AND THE PROGRAMMING METHODS WILL ALSO BE PRESENTED, DIVIDED INTO THE AGE RANGES. PARTICULAR ATTENTION WILL BE GIVEN TO OBSERVATIVE SKILLS IN RELATION TO THE ROLE OF THE EDUCATOR AND THE USE OF DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS, INCLUDING THE EXTERNAL ONE, STRUCTURES AND TEACHING MATERIALS.
IN THE SECOND PART TEACHING EXPERIENCES WILL BE PRESENTED RELATING TO THE VARIOUS AREAS OF INTERVENTION AND THE VARIOUS SKILLS.
Teaching Methods
THE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY, IN THE INITIAL PHASE OF THE COURSE, WILL BE CONSTITUTED BY LESSONS SPECIFICALLY PLANNED TO STIMULATE THE REFLECTION AND ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF STUDENTS IN EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES.
IN THE SECOND PHASE, TEACHING ACTIVITIES ARE CONDUCTED IN A LABORATORY FORM:
- IN THE CLASSROOM, ANALYZING CASE STUDIES PROPOSED BY THE TEACHER THROUGH NARRATIONS, READINGS OR FILMS. (ASSIGNMENT OF TASKS TO GROUPS AND FEEDBACK BY THE TEACHER, GUIDED DISCUSSIONS);
- WHERE POSSIBLE, PROPOSING A "MOTOR WORKSHOP" IN WHICH THE THEORETICAL METHODOLOGICAL PART IS DECLINED IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PREVIOUSLY PROGRAMMED EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES.
Verification of learning
THE EXAM CONSISTS OF A WRITTEN TEST AND AN ORAL TEST.
Texts
FOR THE STUDY, TEACHING MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED DURING THE COURSE AND SOME SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES AND TEXTS WILL BE RECOMMENDED FOR THE DEEPENING OF SOME THEMES.
