	Contents
	The final proof consists into the public discussion of a dissertation composed by the student, under the guidance of a teacher of the University of Salerno ("relatore") and eventually of another teacher ("correlatore") in interdisciplinary dissertations. The topic of the dissertation must be a specialistic topic of one of the disciplines on which the student worked in her/his course of studies. The development of the work has to be original and scientifically grounded.

The final proof consists into the public discussion of a dissertation composed by the student, under the guidance of a teacher of the University of Salerno ("relatore") and eventually of another teacher ("correlatore") in interdisciplinary dissertations. 	Verification of learning
	the Commission which evaluates the student's final proof is choosen by the Department Director and consists usually at least of 5 members. The Commission may evaluate the quality of the dissertation with 0-5 points to add to the average of the former votes. The Commission can give even 1 further point for those dissertations which reflect a long research work, for instance use widely foreign literature or paleographic sources, or include original statistical and empirical inquiries. Students who arrived to the final proof at less of 18 months from the beginning of the second year of course have right to 1 further point. Students who made a study travel in a foreign University or Research Center at the expenses of the University of Salerno have right to 1 further point. If the sum of all the votes is 110/110, then the Commission may attribute also the plause ("lode") if the "relatore" proposes it with adequate grounds and all the members of the Commission agree.
