Objectives
THIS TEACHING AIMS TO PROMOTE KNOWLEDGE OF ETHICALLY SENSITIVE ISSUES OF CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY AND THE THEORETICAL TOOLS THAT PHILOSOPHICAL ETHICS OFFERS TO ADDRESS THEM.

AFTER AN INTRODUCTION ON THEORETICAL STATUTE OF MORAL PHILOSOPHY, THE COURSE SHALL CONCERN THE FOLLOWING TOPICS:

- THE CONCEPT OF PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
- THE TRANSFORMATIONS OF ETHICS IN THE 20TH CENTURY
- THE PROBLEM OF COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY
- JUDGMENT AND EXEMPLARITY
- THE NOTION OF "LIFE OF THE MIND"
Teaching Methods
EACHING PROVIDES FRONT LESSONS AND GROUP ACTIVITIES IN CLASSROOM. THE LESSON WILL ALTERNATE TEACHER'S EXPLANATION TO MOMENTS DURING WHICH THE STUDENTS WILL BE INVOLVED ACTIVELY IN DOING QUESTIONS, IN PROBLEMISING, IN CRITICALLY REFLECTING.
GROUP ACTIVITIES AIM TO CONNECT THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE AND PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE.
Verification of learning
THE ORAL TEST CONSISTS IN AN INTERVIEW WITH QUESTIONS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT THE THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENTS INDICATED IN THE TEACHING PROGRAM. IT IS AIMED TO FIND THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ACHIEVED BY THE STUDENT, AND TO VERIFY THE EXPOSURE CAPACITY (APPROPRIATE TERMINOLOGY AND ABILITY OF AUTONOMOUS ORGANIZATION OF THE SPEECH)
