Objectives
The discussion aims to give the student an
advanced knowledge on the typical topics of the
course of studies;
ability to explain and argue, in written and oral
form, the results of their research.
Prerequisites
After passing all the tests of the training activities
included in the study plan and having acquired the
relevant credits, the student, regardless of the
number of years of enrollment at the university, is
admitted to take the final test.
Contents
The thesis will focus on a topic that is inherent to
the disciplinary fields present in the master’s
degree or in any case consistent with the training
project of the course from the educational structure
of reference.
Teaching Methods
The final exam of the Master’s Degree consists in
the presentation and discussion, in public session,
before a special committee, of a thesis elaborated in
an original way by the student under the guidance
of a speaker.
Verification of learning
The commission for the final test is appointed by
the Director of the Department, or by a person
appointed by him, and is normally composed of 7
members, including the President and in any case
not less than five. The evaluation of the final test is
in one hundred-tenths; the minimum mark for
passing the test is sixty-six hundred-tenths. The
conduct of the final test and the proclamation of the
final result are public.
