Objectives
TO DEVELOP THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SCHOLASTIC EVALUATION THEORIES AND METHODS IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE PROCEDURES USED IN THE PRIMARY SCHOOL.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
TO PROMOTE THE ACQUISITION OF THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF EVALUATION IN EDUCATION; TO ANALYZE CRITICALLY THE DIFFERENT APPROACHES TO ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION IN EDUCATION BY HIGHLIGHTING THE MAIN FEATURES; TO UNDERSTAND THE BASIC STEPS OF EVALUATION PROCESS WITHIN THE DIFFERENT CONTEXTS AND ITS METHODOLOGICAL DIFFERENCES.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
TO MAKE STUDENTS ABLE TO DESIGN TRAINING AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES IN VARIOUS FIELDS, THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF THE METHODS AND RESULTS OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH ON TEACHERS AND TEACHING IN THE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOLS, AND TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL SKILLS APPLICATION OF TECHNIQUES AND INSTRUMENTS USED IN ALL PHASES;

2. NEW ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION AT NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL;
3. TRADITIONAL ACHIEVEMENT TESTS AND NEW SKILLS ASSESSMENT;
4. RUBRICS FOR THE EVALUATION AND CERTIFICATION OF COMPETENCES.
Teaching Methods
THE COURSE WILL BE DEVELOPED THROUGH LECTURES WITH THE USE OF POWER POINT.
