Objectives
START LEARNING ABOUT THE THEORIES AND METHODS OF SCHOOL EVALUATION TO IMPROVE EDUCATIONAL PRACTICES IN PRIMARY SCHOOL.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: TO PROMOTE THE ACQUISITION OF THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE REGARDING THE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF EVALUATION IN THE EDUCATIONAL FIELD; CRITICALLY ANALYZE THE DIFFERENT EVALUATION APPROACHES IN EDUCATION, HIGHLIGHTING ITS MAIN CHARACTERISTICS AND POTENTIALITY; TO UNDERSTAND THE FUNDAMENTAL PHASES OF THE EVALUATION PROCESS WITHIN THE DIFFERENT SCHOLASTIC CONTEXTS AND THE RELATIVE METHODOLOGICAL DIFFERENCES.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: TO ENABLE STUDENTS TO PLAN RESEARCH PATHS AND ACTIVITIES IN DIFFERENT SECTORS, THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF METHODS AND RESULTS OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH ON TEACHERS AND TEACHING IN KINDERGARTENS AND PRIMARY SCHOOLS, AND PROVIDE PRACTICAL-APPLICATIVE SKILLS WITH RESPECT TO SOME TECHNIQUES AND TOOLS THAT CAN BE USED IN THE DIFFERENT PHASES.

THE COURSE WILL DEAL WITH ISSUES CONCERNING THE EVOLUTION OF STUDIES ON EVALUATION IN SCHOOLS AND LONG LIFE LEARNING, REFLECTING ON THE DIFFERENCES THAT EXIST BETWEEN THE CONCEPT OF ACTION AND THE EVALUATION PROCESS. A THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK WILL BE PROVIDED ON EDUCATIONAL EVALUATION IN FORMAL EDUCATIONAL CONTEXTS, IN RELATION TO MICRO, MESO AND MACRO LEVELS.
METHODS FOR THE EVALUATION OF LEARNING PRODUCTS WILL THEN BE INVESTIGATED AND IN PARTICULAR THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MAIN TOOLS FOR THE EVALUATION OF LEARNING WILL BE PRESENTED, IN RELATION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCES.

LECTURES, DIGITAL PRESENTATION, LABORATORIAL PRACTICES AND EXERCISES.
Verification of learning
THE LEARNING ASSESSMENT WILL BE CARRIED OUT THROUGH A WRITTEN TEST (40 ITEMS OF MULTIPLE CHOICE) AND SUBSEQUENT ORAL EXAM. THE WRITTEN TEST, IN WHICHWILL BE VERIFIED KNOWLEDGE DEFINED IN THE OBJECTIVES, IS PRELIMINARY AND COMPULSORY.
