Objectives
THE COURSE WILL EXAMINE THE MAIN THEORETICAL PERSPECTIVES IN DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY. SOME CRITICAL NODES OF DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY WILL BE ILLUSTRATED IN DETAIL.


KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: KNOWLEDGE OF THE BASICS OF DEVELOPMENT PSYCHOLOGY

ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: ABILITY TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED IN THE FIELD OF DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY, EDUCATION AND TEACHING. THE COURSE AIMS TO PROMOTE THE ABILITY TO ANALYSE POSSIBLE PROBLEMS AND FIND THE MOST SUITABLE EDUCATIONAL SOLUTION.

AUTONOMY OF JUDGEMENT: ABILITY TO INTERPRET CRITICALLY DATA

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE, USING THE APPROPRIATE TERMINOLOGY, INFORMATION AND PROBLEMS CONCERNING THE FIELD OF DEVELOPMENT PSYCHOLOGY.

LEARNING SKILLS: TO HAVE GRASPED THE BASIC TOOLS AND DEVELOPED THOSE LEARNING SKILLS THAT ARE NECESSARY FOR THEM TO CONTINUE TO UNDERTAKE FURTHER STUDY WITH A HIGHER DEGREE OF AUTONOMY IN THE FIELD OF DEVELOPMENT PSYCHOLOGY.

THE COURSE AIMS TO ANALYZE THE MAIN THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE MAIN DEVELOPMENTAL FUNCTIONS: MOTOR, PERCEPTIVE, COGNITIVE, EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL, COMMUNICATIVE-LINGUISTIC, MORAL AND CULTURAL.

Teaching Methods
LECTURES, BRAINSTORMING,PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES AND CASE STUDIES.THE COURSE CONSISTS OF 48 HOURS OF LESSONS.
Verification of learning
THE FINAL PROOF IS AN ORAL PROOF BASED ON THE PRESCRIBED BOOKS. THE EVALUATION OF THE ORAL PROOF WILL TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED AS WELL AS THE ACCURACY OF THE LANGUAGE.
FOR STUDENTS WHICH ATTEND REGULARLY TO THE LECTURES, THE TEACHER WILL PROPOSE ALSO INTERMEDIATE PROOFS IN ORDER TO MAKE EASIER THE FINAL PROOF.
THE WRITTEN TEST SHALL CONSIST OF A TEST OF AT LEAST 30 MULTIPLE-CHOICE QUESTIONS. THE ORAL TEST WILL FOCUS ON THE DISCUSSION OF AT LEAST 3 DIFFERENT TOPICS.
