LEARNING OF: THEORY AND PRACTICE OF MODERN IMAGE PROCESSING TECHNIQUES FOR MULTIBIOMETRIC SYSTEM, ALSO INCLUDING SUCH IMAGE MANAGEMENT, STORING, INDEXING, ANALYSIS AND CODING.

HUMAN VISUAL SYSTEM, SAMPLING, QUANTIZATION, COLOUR MODELS, ANALOGICAL/DIGITAL TRANSFORM, FOURIER TRANSFORM, SAMPLING THEOREM, DISCRETE FOURIER TRANSFORM, IMAGE SEGMENTATION, LOW LEVEL FEATURE DETECTION, PCA; EDGE DETECTION, SHAPE MATCHING, IMAGE FILTERING, SMOOTHING, SHARPENING, LOSSY IMAGE CODING, JPEG: DISCRETE COSINE TRANSFORM, JPEG 2000: THE WAVELET, FRACTALS, METRIC SPACE AND CONTRACTIVE FUNCTIONS, PCA, INTRODUCING VIDEO CODING: MPEG, MULTIMEDIA DATABASE, IMAGE INDEXING, BIOMETRICS (IRIS, FINGERPRINT, FACE, EAR) AND MULTIBIOMETRIC SYSTEMS.
