Objectives
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE IS PROVIDING TO STUDENT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REGARDING THE THE MANAGEMENT OF THE QUALITY OF FRUIT, FLOWERS AND VEGETABLE PRODUCTS.
THE MAIN KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED WILL BE:-THEORETICAL-PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE POST-HARVEST PHENOMENA OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES; KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN PROCESSING, STORAGE AND PACKAGING TECHNIQUES OF PRIMARY PRODUCTION TO PRESERVE ITS QUALITY CHARACTERISTICS.
THE MAIN SKILLS WILL BE: KNOW HOW TO PLAN AND DEVELOP PROCESSES FOR POST-HARVEST MANAGEMENT OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PRODUCTS WITH HIGH QUALITY AND SAFETY CHARACTERISTICS

IT IS REQUIRED TO PASS THE COURSE IN CHEMISTRY.

THE COURSE INCLUDES 3,9 ECTS-CREDITS AND LABORATORY ACTIVITIES 2,1 ECTS-CREDITS FOR A TOTAL OF 6 ECTS CREDITS (42 H).
Teaching Methods
THE FINAL MARK, OUT OF THIRTY (THE MAXIMUM IS THIRTY CUM LAUDE), DEPENDS ON THE MASTERING ABILITY OF THE COURSE TOPICS, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE QUALITY OF THE ORAL REPORTING AND THE JUDGMENT ABILITY DEMONSTRATED. THE EXAM IS CONSIDERED PASSED WITH THE MINIMUM GRADE OF 18/30
