Objectives
The final exam is aimed at:
-assessing the personal level of knowledge , abilities and skills achived by the student at the end of her /his studies;
-evaluating her/his level of written and verbal communication abilities , using multimedia tools.
Prerequisites
Applications for the final exam assignment can be submitted only by students who have acquired at least 105 ECTS
Contents
To the final exam are assigned 6 ECTS (25 hour each, for a total of 150 hours) and consist in in elaborating a report on the technical-practical activities (laboratories, traineeship) carried out by the student or on a topic consistent with the learning objectives of the Bachelor degree on the analysis, evaluation identification of agro-technical and economical strategies aimed at solving real cases and problems faced in the farms and the Protected areas, localized in the regional/national agricultural systems.
Teaching Methods
For the final exam, the student, autonomously and under the supervision of an academic tutor:
-defines the topic on which his/her project is focuses;
- carries out the technical-practical activities necessary to achieve the objectives out-lined in the project;
-analyzes and elaborates the data collected;
- utilizes on-line tools for literature, scientific articles on the specific topic of her/his project;
-drafts a report, which will be evaluated by the Examination Committee, and a ppt presentation to be presented publicly using multimedia tools.

Verification of learning
The report for the final exam has to be  drafted in an original manner under the guidance of a supervising professor.
The report must be discussed publicly during a final exam session in front of the Examination Board.
The score of the final exam is based on the weighted mean of the scores acquired by the students, to which are added the score attributed by the Examination Board. Evaluation criteria used by the Examination Board in establishing the score are the the type and the skills acquired during the inter-disciplinary activities carried out by the students, the quality of the report and the oral presentation, the length (number of years) to reach the bachelor degree, the participation to the exchange ERASMUS Program .

THE FINAL SCORE IS EXPRESSED IN 110/110 AND TO PASS THE FINAL EXAM IT IS NECESSARY TO HAVE A MINIMUM SCORE OF 66/110.
AN ADDITIONAL “CUM LADE” MAY BE ATTRIBUTED TO STUDENTS WITH THE MAXIMUM SCORE (30/30) WHO HAVE DEMONSTRATED THEIR AUTONOMY IN DISCUSSING AND APPLYING THE ACQUIRE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO THE SELECTED TOPIC FOR TEH FINAL EXAM.
