Objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING - THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH A USEFUL FRAMEWORK TO UNDERSTAND STRATEGIC AND OPERATIONAL ISSUES IN WINE BUSINESS AND TO INDICATE SOME POSSIBLE PATHS AND INSTRUMENTS TO MANAGE CURRENT AND FUTURE COMPETITIVE SCENARIOS.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING - AT THE END OF THE COURSE, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO APPLY THEIR KNOWLEDGE TO DIFFERENT TYPES OF WINE BUSINESSES, DETERMINING THE MOST ADEQUATE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT MODALITIES FOR THE SINGLE CONTEXT.
MAKING JUDGEMENTS - STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO FORMULATE INDEPENDENTLY ANALYSES AND ASSESSMENTS ON STRATEGIC AND OPERATIONAL DECISIONS IN WINE BUSINESS.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS - STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY THE RESULTS OF INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITIES (ANALYSIS, REPORTING, MONITORING, ETC.) WITH EXECUTIVES, MANAGERS AND COLLEAGUES. THE EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION, HOWEVER, WILL DEAL WITH THE MAIN TOOLS OF WINE MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION (PUBLIC RELATIONS, INTERNET, ETC.).
LEARNING SKILLS - STUDENTS, EMPLOYING ADEQUATE METHODOLOGIES AND TECHNIQUES, WILL BE ABLE TO DEFINE STRATEGIC AND OPERATIONAL SOLUTIONS ABOUT THE SPECIFIC PROBLEMS OF WINE BUSINESSES.

THE EXAMINATION WILL CONSIST IN AN ORAL EXAM, AIMED TO DETERMINE NOT ONLY THE KNOWLEDGE LEARNED, BUT ALSO THE STUDENT'S ABILITY TO THINK IN A GLOBAL AND SYSTEMIC MANNER ABOUT WINE BUSINESS.
