KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING - THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH A USEFUL FRAMEWORK TO UNDERSTAND STRATEGIC AND OPERATIONAL ISSUES IN HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS AND TO INDICATE SOME POSSIBLE PATHS AND INSTRUMENTS TO MANAGE CURRENT AND FUTURE COMPETITIVE SCENARIOS. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING - AT THE END OF THE COURSE, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO APPLY THEIR KNOWLEDGE TO DIFFERENT TYPES OF HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE, DETERMINING THE MOST ADEQUATE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT MODALITIES FOR THE SINGLE CONTEXT. MAKING JUDGEMENTS - STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO FORMULATE INDEPENDENTLY ANALYSES AND ASSESSMENTS ON STRATEGIC AND OPERATIONAL DECISIONS IN HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS. COMMUNICATION SKILLS - STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY THE RESULTS OF INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITIES (ANALYSIS, REPORTING, MONITORING, ETC.) WITH EXECUTIVES, MANAGERS AND COLLEAGUES. THE EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION, HOWEVER, WILL DEAL WITH THE MAIN TOOLS OF HEALTH MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION (PUBLIC RELATIONS, INTERNET, ETC.). LEARNING SKILLS - STUDENTS, EMPLOYING ADEQUATE METHODOLOGIES AND TECHNIQUES, WILL BE ABLE TO DEFINE STRATEGIC AND OPERATIONAL SOLUTIONS ABOUT THE SPECIFIC PROBLEMS OF HEALTH CARE COMPANIES. |
