	Objectives
	KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING Students will have acquired knowledge and skills relative to the conceptual and operative tools of institutional (public) and organizational (private sector) Sustainability Management, with particular attention to SMEs. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING Students will have acquired appropriate knowledge of tools and methodology suitable for putting in place models for the management and communication of the environmental variable in organizations.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Students will have acquired knowledge and skills relative to the conceptual and operative tools of institutional (public) and organizational (private sector) Sustainability Management, with particular attention to SMEs.

Students will have acquired appropriate knowledge of tools and methodology suitable for putting in place models for the management and communication of the environmental variable in organizations.

	Contents
	Ecology and Economics: a combination in comparison. the tools of the life cycle management (Life Cycle assessment, Life cycle costing, Social Life cycle assessment). Accounting and environmental reporting. Carbon accounting, carbon management, carbon and water footprint, ecological footprint.

	Teaching Methods
	Plenary,seminars,testimonials,study and work groups.

	Verification of learning
	The final exam consists of an oral test aimed at assessing the knowledge acquired. During that test will be made at least two questions and the evaluation will be out of thirtieth.
