Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO MAKE STUDENTS ACQUIRE THE ELEMENTS USEFUL FOR THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCTION SYSTEM, AT THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL, THROUGH THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE EVOLUTIONARY DYNAMICS OF THE DIFFERENT FORMS OF INDUSTRIALIZATION. PARTICULAR ATTENTION WILL BE PAID TO THE ROLE OF THE STATE IN THE ECONOMY AND THE IMPACT OF RECENT CRISES AND THE EFFECTS ON ENTERPRISES OF GLOBALIZATION PROCESSES.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO COMPREHEND: THE STUDENT, ON THE BASIS OF THE FUNDAMENTAL KNOWLEDGE AND LOGICAL-ARGUMENTATIVE METHODOLOGY LEARNED, WILL BE ABLE TO ANALYZE THE VARIOUS ISSUES PRESENTED BY DEVELOPING SPECIFIC SKILLS SUITABLE FOR IN-DEPTH CRITICAL ANALYSIS.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: THE EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE CONSISTS IN ACHIEVING THE SKILLS NECESSARY FOR THE APPLICATION OF ECONOMIC THEORY TO SOME SECTORS OF THE REAL ECONOMY AND TO UNDERSTAND THE EVOLUTION OF THE DIFFERENT SECTORS THAT MAKE UP AN ECONOMIC SYSTEM.

TEACHING DEALS WITH THE THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF 'INDUSTRIAL ECONOMICS, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO ASPECTS THAT ALLOW THE IDENTIFICATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF INDIVIDUAL INDUSTRIAL SECTORS. IT ALSO ANALYZES THE INITIATION AND EVOLUTION OF GLOBALIZATION PROCESSES AND DEVOTES SPECIFIC ATTENTION TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS ACHIEVED IN TERMS OF INDUSTRIALIZATION AND INNOVATION BY ITALY AND MEZZOGIORNO.

Teaching Methods
THE COURSE IS BASED ON 30 HOURS TEACHING, DISTRIBUTED IN THIS WAY: FRONT LESSONS (24 HOURS); CASE STUDY DISCUSSION (3 HOURS); EXERCISES (3 HOURS).
Verification of learning
THE TEACHING INCLUDES AN ORAL TEST AT THE END OF THE LECTURE CYCLE, WITH EVALUATION IN THIRTIETHS, LASTING 45', AIMED AT VERIFYING THE STUDENT'S ABILITY TO CRITICALLY ANALYZE THE ECONOMIC PHENOMENA UNDER STUDY. THE MINIMUM LEVEL OF ASSESSMENT (18/30) IS AWARDED WHEN THE STUDENT HAS LIMITED KNOWLEDGE OF THE SUBJECT; THE MAXIMUM LEVEL (30/30) IS AWARDED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES COMPLETE AND IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF THE SUBJECT; PRAISE IS AWARDED WHEN THE CANDIDATE DEMONSTRATES SIGNIFICANT MASTERY OF THE SUBJECT, CAPACITY FOR AUTONOMOUS ELABORATION AND REMARKABLE PROPRIETY OF LANGUAGE.
