Objectives
THE COURSE OF "MODELS AND STRATEGIES FOR SKILLS ASSESSMENT" AIMS TO PRESENT AND ANALYZE THE COMPLEX AND DIFFICULT PROCESS OF EVALUATION WITHIN THE SCHOOL CONTEXT. THE TOPICS PRESENTED ARE ABOUT SPECIFIC CONTENT FOR PROFESSIONAL EDUCATORS AND TRAINING EXPERTS.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
TO PROMOTE THE ACQUISITION OF THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF EVALUATION IN EDUCATION; TO ANALYZE CRITICALLY THE DIFFERENT APPROACHES TO ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION IN EDUCATION BY HIGHLIGHTING THE MAIN FEATURES; TO UNDERSTAND THE BASIC STEPS OF EVALUATION PROCESS WITHIN THE DIFFERENT CONTEXTS AND ITS METHODOLOGICAL DIFFERENCES.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
TO MAKE STUDENTS ABLE TO DESIGN TRAINING AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES IN VARIOUS FIELDS, THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF THE METHODS AND RESULTS OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH ON TEACHERS AND TEACHING IN THE SCHOOLS, AND TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL SKILLS APPLICATION OF TECHNIQUES AND INSTRUMENTS USED IN ALL PHASES;
AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT:
TO PROMOTE THE ADOPTION OF A THOUGHTFUL ATTITUDE ON THE EVALUATION OF EDUCATIONAL PRODUCTS AND PROCESSES CARRIED OUT ON THE PROCESSES OF TEACHING AND LEARNING AND THE ABILITY TO ASSESS PERFORMANCE IN RELATION TO THEIR EFFECT FOR SCHOOL INNOVATION AND ITS QUALITY;
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
TO DEVELOP SPECIFIC COMMUNICATION SKILLS, USING AN APPROPRIATE VOCABULARY, REFERRING TO DIFFERENT AUDIENCES (EXPERTS AND OTHERS);
LEARNING SKILLS:
TO INCREASE LEARNING SKILLS TO UNDERTAKE FURTHER STUDIES WITH A HIGH AUTONOMY DEGREE.
