THE CLASS AIMS TO GIVE THE NECESSARY CRITICAL TOOLS TO UNDERSTAND TEXTS AND SUBJECTS POURPOSED: 1. THE HISTORICAL GENESIS OF THE NOTION OF "POST-MODERNITY".. 2. THE STUDENT WILL IMPLEMENT THE GAINED KNOWLEDGE TO WORKS OF ART PROPOSED DURING THE CLASS. 3. E 4.: THE STUDENT WILL BE INVITED TO ELABORATE A PERSONAL OUTLOOK ABOUT THE THEMES PROPOSED DURING THE CLASS AND TO COMMUNICATE IT IN CONFRONT OF THE OTHER STUDENTS. 5. TO DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO CONFRONT THEORY AND EMPIRICAL CASES. |

PARTICULARLY FOCUSED ON THE CRITICAL CONFRONTATION BETWEEN PHILOSOPHICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL ELABORATION OF THE AESTHETICAL THEMES. HISTORY OF AESTHETIC THEORY B: THE CLASS IS DEVOTED TO THE ARCHITECTURAL POST-MODERNISM AND IN PARTICULAR TO ROBERT VENTURI, THE ARCHITECT CONSIDERED ITS FOUNDER THEORIST.
