HUMAN VISUAL SYSTEM, SAMPLING, QUANTIZATION, COLOUR MODELS, ANALOGICAL/DIGITAL TRANSFORM, FOURIER TRANSFORM, SAMPLING THEOREM, DISCRETE FOURIER TRANSFORM, IMAGE SEGMENTATION, LOW LEVEL FEATURE DETECTION, EDGE DETECTION, SHAPE MATCHING, IMAGE FILTERING, SMOOTHING, SHARPENING, WAVELET, MULTIMEDIA DATABASE, IMAGE INDEXING, BIOMETRICS DETECTION AND RECOGNITION OF FACE, FINGERPRINT, IRIS ,EAR.
