The goal of this class is to introduce students to the foundations of modern data security, which is protecting data, from destructive forces and from the unwanted actions of unauthorized users. |

Class lectures with practical examples, laboratory activity and case studies. |
Verification of learning | |
---|---|
Written and oral exams. The written exam has the goal of evaluating the student skills with respect to the application of the acquired knowledge to the design of efficient solutions for security problems. In the oral exam the student can show his knowledge of the topics studied in class. |
