THE COURSE OFFERS AN IN-DEPTH AND DETAILED STUDY OF THE MAJOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS TODAY KNOWN AND EXPERIMENTED WORLDWIDE. A LEAN MANAGEMENT OF THE "OPERATIONS" QUALIFIES THE MOST IMPORTANT MANUFACTURERS OF WORLD GOODS AND SERVICES WHO WANT TO CONTROL AND REDUCE THE COSTS OF PRODUCTION IN A SYSTEMATIC WAY. THE LOGICAL STEPS THAT MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO IMPLEMENT THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF LEAN MANAGEMENT ARE PRESENTED AND DISCUSSED IN ORDER TO SHOW HOW THROUGH A DETAILED MONITORING OF THE LOSSES IT IS POSSIBLE TO IDENTIFY THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COST FACTORS AND IMPROVING PROCESSES. THE COURSE ADDRESSES THE DESCRIPTION OF THE LOGICS AND PRINCIPLES THAT REGULATE AN IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM THROUGH THEORETICAL LESSONS AND CASE STUDIES. |

THE EVALUATION CONSISTS OF A FINAL TEST SUPPORTED IN THE FORM OF AN ORAL INTERVIEW. THIS TEST INCLUDES THE DISCUSSION OF A PROJECT THAT WILL RELATE TO THE APPLICATION OF ONE OF THE TECHNIQUES STUDIED. THE MINIMUM GRADE (18/30) IS ACHIEVED BY SHOWING ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE OF ALL THE CONTENTS OF THE COURSE. THE MAXIMUM GRADE (30/30) IS GIVEN TO THE STUDENT WHO SHOWS CLEAR AND SIGNIFICANT KNOWLEDGE OF THEORETICAL AND APPLICATION CONTENTS. TOP MARK ("LODE") IS ATTRIBUTED TO THE CANDIDATE WHICH ALSO SHOWS EXCELLENT PROCESSING PROFICIENCY AND SKILL TO EXTEND THE SUBJECT RESULTS TO DIFFERENT AREAS FROM THOSE STUDIED ALONG THE LECTURES. |
