Objectives
THE STUDENTS WILL LEARN CONCEPTS CONCERNING ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURES AND SUPPORT ICT SYSTEMS TO THE AUTOMATION AND CONTROL OF INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
KNOWLEDGE OF BUSINESS ORGANIZATION AND OF ICT TECHNOLOGIES FOR AUTOMATION AND CONTROL OF PRODUCTION PROCESSES.

APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
AFTER THE COURSE, THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO USE AN ENGINEERING APPROACH TO THE ANALYSIS, DESIGN, IMPLEMENTATION, TESTING AND MAINTENANCE OF INDUSTRIAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND TO PARTICIPATE TO THE PROJECT ACTIVITIES FOR THE PRODUCTION OF AN ENTERPRISE APPLICATIVE SOFTWARE.
Prerequisites
THE STUDENTS HAVE TO KNOW CONCEPTS CONCERNING FUNDAMENTAL ALGORITHMS AND DATA STRUCTURES TOGETHER WITH THE BASIC NOTIONS OF DATABASE SYSTEMS. IN PARTICULAR, IS REQUIRED THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE RELATIONAL MODEL AND THE MAIN STRUCTURES OF THE LANGUAGE SQL. EVEN IF NOT STRICTLY NECESSARY, IT IS HELPING SOME SKILL IN THE LANGUAGE PHP.

Teaching Methods
A PROJECT WILL BE ASSIGNED TO EACH GROUP OF STUDENTS. IT WILL BE REQUIRED TO DEVELOP A SOFTWARE APPLICATION THAT WILL IMPLEMENT A SELECTED ASPECT OF AN ENTERPRISE PROCESS. LABORATORY SESSION WILL BE ORGANIZED TO TRANSFER THEORETICAL SUBJECTS TO PRACTICAL CONTEXT.

IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE TO THE FINAL ASSESSMENT AND TO GAIN THE CREDITS
CORRESPONDING TO THE COURSE, THE STUDENT MUST HAVE ATTENDED AT LEAST 70%
OF THE HOURS OF ASSISTED TEACHING ACTIVITIES.
