THE AIMS OF THE COURSE INCLUDE A GENERAL OUTLINE AND UNDERSTANDING OF ROMAN HISTORY, PLACED WITHIN THE GENERAL FRAMEWORK OF THE ANCIENT MEDITERRANEAN CIVILIZATIONS. THROUGH THE CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF THEIR RESPECTIVE SOURCES, SIGNIFICANT MOMENTS IN THE POLITICAL-INSTITUTIONAL, SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND RELIGIOUS EVOLUTION OF THE ROMAN WORLD WILL BE HIGHLIGHTED. THE COURSE ALSO AIMS TO ACQUIRE THE FUNDAMENTALS OF RESEARCH METHODS AND HISTORICAL RECONSTRUCTION, THUS STUDYING IN FURTHER DETAIL SPECIFIC THEMES. |
