Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS AT ACHIEVING A GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF ITALIAN LITERATURE (FROM THE XIITH TO THE XVITH CENTURY) DUE TO A READING APPROACH TO THE MOST REPRESENTATIVE WORKS OF ITALIANS WRITERS AND POETS.
Prerequisites
HISTORICAL AND LITERARY KNOWLEDGE ALREADY ACQUIRED IN THE HIGH SCHOOL LEARNING YEARS. BASIC ABILITIES OF ANALYSING AND SYNTHESIZING LITERARY AND NON LITERARY TEXTS.

THE EXAM WILL BE ORAL AND WILL CHECK THE STUDENT’S KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN TOPICS OF THE COURSE. THE CANDIDATE WILL BE ASSESSED BY MEANS OF THE FOLLOWING PARAMETERS, APART FROM THE CONTENT KNOWLEDGE: A) THE PERTINENCE IN GIVING CORRECT ANSWERS; B) THE ABILITY TO ORGANIZE A PERSONAL, COHERENT AND CRITICALLY STRUCTURED EXPOSITION; C) LEXICAL COMPETENCE AND VARIETY OF REGISTERS USED; D) A THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF LITERARY TEXTS ANALYZING STRATEGIES (BASIC COMPETENCE).
