Objectives
THE AIM OF THE STAGE IS TO PUT INTO PRACTICE THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED IN THE TEACHING OF ITALIAN LANGUAGE AND ITALIAN DIDACTICS THROUGH SPECIFIC EXERCISES WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE SPRACHENZENTRUM OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SAARLAND UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE TEACHERS OF ITALIAN L2.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE:
-TO PUT ITALIAN L2 TEACHING MODELS INTO PRACTICE;
-TO FOLLOW STAGES AND SEQUENCES OF LANGUAGE LEARNING;
-TO LEARN HOW TO SET UP A TEACHING OF ITALIAN L2 ON THE MISTAKES OF LEARNERS.

APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE:
-TO PUT INTO PRACTICE AN ITALIAN L2 TEACHING MODEL ACCORDING TO A VARIATIONAL APPROACH;
-TO DISTINGUISH IN PARTICULAR THE VARIETIES OF “STANDARD” AND “NEO-STANDARD ITALIAN”;
-TO APPLY THE THEORETICAL CONCEPTS OF “LINGUISTIC NORM” AND “USE” TO ITALIAN L2 TEACHING.

MAKING JUDGEMENTS
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO EVALUATE:
-LEARNERS’ LINGUISTIC PRODUCTIONS IN RELATION TO THE LEARNING LEVELS ACHIEVED;
-THE STRATEGIES IMPLEMENTED BY LEARNERS IN RECONSTRUCTING THE RULES WHICH GOVERN THE GRAMMAR OF ITALIAN.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO BECOME COMPETENT IN LANGUAGE EDUCATION, MULTILINGUALISM, NORM AND USE OF ITALIAN, LINGUISTIC VARIABILITY.

LEARNING SKILLS
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE:
-TO IMPLEMENT A MULTIMODAL TEACHING OF ITALIAN L2 FOR THE LEARNERS’ FOUR LANGUAGE SKILLS ENHANCEMENT (SPEAKING, LISTENING, READING, WRITING);
-TO EXPLOIT DIFFERENT AND AUTHENTIC TEXTS IN TEACHING (SPOKEN, WRITTEN AND DIGITAL TEXTS; LITERARY AND NON-LITERARY TEXTS).
