| After having passed all the verifications of the educational activities included in the study plan and having acquired the relative credits, the student, regardless of the number of years of enrollment at the university, is admitted to take the final exam, which is assigned a number of CFU as required by the attached study plan. |

| The final exam will focus on a topic relating to the disciplinary sectors present in the degree course and will consist in the presentation and oral discussion, by the student, of a topic agreed and developed under the guidance of the supervisor. |

| The final exam of the degree course consists in the presentation and oral discussion, by the student, of a compilation or experimental thesis developed under the guidance of the supervisor. The oral discussion will take place in public session before a specific commission. |
| Verification of learning | |

| The commission for the final exam is appointed by the Director of the Department or by a person designated by him, and is normally composed of 7 effective members including the president and in any case not less than five. The evaluation of the final exam is in one hundred tenths. The minimum grade for passing the test is sixty-six hundred tenths. The rounding of the vote is carried out upwards when the decimals are equal to or greater than 0.5 and downwards when the decimals are less than 0.5. The commission, with unanimous evaluation, can grant the candidate the highest marks with honors. The conduct of the final test and the announcement of the final result are public. The final assessment will take into account the students entire career within the course of study, his / her cultural maturity and personal intellectual processing capacity, the times and methods for acquiring educational credits, assessments on previous educational activities and on final test. |
