More Information
Final exam procedure:
. After having passed all the checks of the training activities included in the study plan and have acquired the related credits, the student, regardless of the number of years of university enrollment, is allowed to take the final exam to which 3 credits are awarded. Part of the work involved in preparing the final exam takes place within the internship to which 4 credits are awarded, for a total of 100 hours.
. The final exam, aimed at verifying the achievement of the educational objectives foreseen by the course of study, consists of the oral presentation before the graduation commission of a written paper concerning subjects related to the internship, as a rule, or other practical activities and / or laboratory carried out at the end of the training course always under the guidance of a teacher-tutor.
. The commission for the final examination is appointed by the Director of the Department or by a person designated by him, and usually consists of 11 effective members including the president and in any case no fewer than five.
. The evaluation of the final exam is in 110 tenths. The commission, with unanimous evaluation, can attribute to the candidate the highest marks with honors. The minimum grade for passing the test is 66/110. The conduct of the final examination and the proclamation of the final result are public.
. The degree mark is the sum of the student's starting score, resulting from the conversion into 110 tenths of the weighted average of the marks obtained in the profit examinations (therefore excluding the eligibility), and the points assigned by the Commission during the assessment of the final exam.
The Commission has available up to a maximum of n. 7 points partitioned according to the following criteria:
a) quality of the elaborate and of the final discussion: from 0 to 5 points;
b) times and methods of acquisition of training credits: from 0 to 2 points subdivided as follows:
1 point if the student graduates in progress;
1 point if the student deserved 3 or more praises.
