	Objectives
	The objectives of the course are to introduce students who must comply with the Additional Educational Obligation whose outcome was insufficient based on what is reported on the website of the course of study (https://corsi.unisa.it/05127/immatricolazioni)

	Teaching Methods
	Students will follow a 24-hour course taught by a teacher with adequate basic mathematical skills whose task is to prepare them to answer about thirty logical-mathematical questions that relate to the TOLC-S test taken.

	Verification of learning
	The student will have to take a test of about thirty logical-mathematical questions that relate to the TOLC-S taken as an admission test for a scientific study course such as Environmental Sciences. The passing of the test will be specifically advertised on the website of the degree course as decided by the appropriate didactic commission of the Degree Course.

	EVALUATION OF THE TEST AND ADDITIONAL TRAINING OBLIGATIONS (OFA) The outcome of the TOLC-S does not affect enrollment in the degree course but may determine the attribution of Additional Educational Obligations (OFA). In particular, the student who does not reach the minimum score of 15 points (out of a total of 30 points) in the sections of Basic Mathematics and Reasoning and Problems at TOLC-S are assigned Additional Educational Obligations to be fulfilled within the first year of the course. Before enrolling in the first year, the student who enrolls with OFA is required to follow an intensive basic mathematics course which ends with a verification test whose passing allows the student to complete the OFA. In case of failure, the student can still repeat the test in two successive rounds, scheduled respectively in the months of December and April, according to a calendar made known well in advance on this web page. It should be noted that failure to complete the OFAs in any case makes it impossible to take the exam for the first year of Mathematics 1 (preparatory for Mathematics 2) and in any case the impossibility of taking any exam for the second year.
