THE COURSE AIMS TO ACHIEVE 2 OBJECTIVES: 1. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING STUDENTS WILL ANALYSE CONCEPTUAL TOOLS USEFUL TO UNDERSTAND AND MANAGE THE MAIN PROBLEMS THAT CAN AFFECT START-UP COMPANIES AND SUBSEQUENTLY, THEY WILL BE ENGAGED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW BUSINESS IDEA. 2. ABILITY TO APPLY AND UNDERSTAND STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE INSIGHTS ABOUT ENTREPRENEURSHIP, THEY WILL VERIFY/DEVELOP THEIR ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS AND THEY WILL EXPLORE THEORETICAL AND MANAGERIAL FEATURES NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT ENTREPRENEURIAL ACTIVITIES IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING DUBLIN DESCRIPTOR 1: STUDENTS WILL REACH PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, TYPICAL OF THE T SHAPE, THAT PUTS TOGETHER AN ADEQUATE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THE VARIETY OF FORMS OF BUSINESSES (HORIZONTAL SECTION OF THE T) AND A PARTICULAR PROPENSITY TO DEEPEN THE MANAGERIAL MODELS AND CONCEPTS RELATED TO CREATION AND COMPETITIVENESS OF ORGANIZATIONS (VERTICAL SECTION OF THE T). ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING DUBLIN DESCRIPTOR 2: APPLICATION SKILLS STUDENTS WILL LEARN THE METHODS, TECHNIQUES AND TOOLS FOR GENERATING A BUSINESS IDEA AND IMPLEMENTING A BUSINESS PROJECT. AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT DUBLIN DESCRIPTOR 3: AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO ASSESS THE ADEQUACY OF A BUSINESS IDEA CONSISTENT WITH THE EVOLVING DYNAMICS OF CONTEXTS. COMMUNICATION SKILLS DUBLIN DESCRIPTOR 4: COMMUNICATION SKILLS STUDENTS WILL DEVELOP A SPECIFIC LANGUAGE LINKED WITH THE FIELD OF BUSINESS; IN THIS SENSE THEY WILL BE INVOLVED IN CREATING REPORTS AND CASE STUDY ANALYSIS. LEARNING ABILITY DUBLIN DESCRIPTOR 5: LEARNING ABILITY STUDENTS WILL LEARN KEY FACTORS ABLE TO BOOST EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY OF A BUSINESS PROJECT AND THEY WILL IMPLEMENT THESE FACTORS THROUGH THE CREATION OF A GROUP PROJECT WORK. |

METHOD OF THE EXAMINATION: THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE IS CERTIFIED BY AN EXAM, WITH AN EVALUATION THAT CAN REACH MAXIMUM THIRTY POINTS (FROM 18 TO 30). THE EXAM INCLUDES A WRITTEN TEST AND AN ORAL EXAMINATION THAT CAN TAKE PLACE ON DIFFERENT DAYS (THE WRITTEN TEST IS PREPARATORY TO THE ORAL TEST), EACH PART OF THE EXAM IS EVALUATED OUT OF THIRTY POINTS, WITH A MINIMUM GRADE OF 18/30. THE FINAL GRADE IS GIVEN BY THE ARITHMETICAL MEAN OF THE GRADES OBTAINED IN EACH PART OF THE EXAM. WRITTEN TEST STUDENTS THAT ATTEND THE COURSE: THE WRITTEN EXAM REFERS TO THE PROJECT THAT STUDENTS HAVE TO DEVELOP DURING THE COURSE. IT AIMS TO VERIFY THE DEGREE OF UNDERSTANDING OF THE COURSE CONTENTS RELATED TO THE CREATION OF A NEW BUSINESS. STUDENTS THAT DO NOT ATTEND THE COURSE: THE WRITTEN TEST, LASTING AN HOUR AND A HALF, IS AIMED AT ASCERTAINING, IN A TRANSPARENT AND OBJECTIVE WAY, THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ACHIEVED BY THE STUDENT ON THE THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENTS HIGHLIGHTED IN THE PROGRAM. THIS TEST IS MADE UP OF 20 MULTIPLE CHOICE AND 2 OPEN-ENDED QUESTIONS; EACH MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION HAS A VALUE OF 1 WHILE THE OPEN ANSWER HAS A VALUE OF 2 POINTS. SINCE THESE ARE MULTIPLE ANSWERS, IT IS SUFFICIENT TO INDICATE ONE, CROSSING THE ONE THAT IS CONSIDERED CORRECT BASED ON THE STUDENT’S KNOWLEDGE. THE SECOND PART IS DEDICATED TO TWO OPEN-ENDED QUESTIONS, FOCUSED ON EXPLORING BUSINESS ISSUES AND EVOLVING PROCESSES/DYNAMICS. THE QUESTIONS ARE SIMILAR TO THOSE PROPOSED DURING FACE-TO-FACE LESSONS. THE OBJECTIVE OF THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION IS TO VERIFY THE OVERALL KNOWLEDGE OF THE PROPOSED PROGRAM. ORAL EXAM THE ORAL TEST, THAT IS COMMONLY SUSTAINED BY STUDENTS THAT ATTENDED THE LESSONS AND STUDENTS THAT DO NOT ATTEND THE LESSONS, LASTS ABOUT 20 MINUTES AND CONSISTS OF AN ORAL EXAMINATION, WITH QUESTIONS AND DISCUSSION THAT AIM TO BETTER VERIFY THE LEARNING OUTCOMES ACHIEVED BY INDIVIDUALS. IN THIS WAY, THE DEGREE OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ACHIEVED BY STUDENTS IS ACCERTAINED. |
