THE COURSE AIMS TO STUDY THE CONCEPTS AND BASIC PROCEDURES IN EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH AND TO ILLUSTRATE PROBLEMS AND METHODS OF THE RESEARCH IN EDUCATION AND THE COMPETENCE NECESSARY TO USE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL, COMMUNICATIVE/RELATIONAL, AND TEACHING CONTEXT. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: -KNOWING THE MAIN ISSUES, PROBLEMS AND ASPECTS OF THE CULTURAL, SCIENTIFIC AND PEDAGOGICAL DEBATE ABOUT THE EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A RESEARCH IMPLEMENTATION AND ITS CONSTITUENT ELEMENTS; -DEVELOPMENT AND DIFFUSION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES, THE FUNCTION AND IMPACT OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES,; -ACQUIRING AND KNOWING HOW TO PROPERLY USE THE FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS, SPECIFIC LANGUAGE AND METHODOLOGICAL EXPERTISE IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING -DESCRIBING THE COMPLEXITY OF THE EDUCATIONAL PHENOMENA AND THE VARIABLES THAT CONTRIBUTE TO CHARACTERIZE THEM; -EXPLAINING THE MODALITIES FOR THE RESEARCH IMPLEMENTATION; ILLUSTRATING HOW TO COLLECT, CATEGORIZE AND STORE DATA OBTAINED. -SELECTING THE APPROPRIATE THEORETICAL BASIS AS A CONCEPTUAL REFERENCE FOR EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH IN EDUCATION; -SELECT AND INTEGRATE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES INTO SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL AND TEACHING CONTEXT. |

PARTICULARLY, IT WILL BE ANALYSED: -THE MAIN METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO RESEARCH IN EDUCATION; -EXPERIMENTAL PEDAGOGY AND EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH; -QUESTIONS AND RESEARCH DESIGNS; -CONSTRUCTS AND VARIABLES; -MEASUREMENT SCALE; -THE HYPOTHESES STATEMENT AND PLANNING IN EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH; -COLLECTING DATA (TECHNIQUES AND PROCEDURES); -THE PRESENTATION OF RESEARCH RESULTS; EDUCATION AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY -LEARNING AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY -DIGITAL COMPETENCE -PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY. |
