Objectives
AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENTS:

THEY WILL HAVE ACQUIRED AMPLE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING SKILLS OF THE FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS OF GENERAL SOCIOLOGY, THEIR EVOLUTION IN THE DIFFERENT HISTORICAL PERIODS OF THE WESTERN WORLD AND THEIR SOCIAL CONSEQUENCES THAT AFFECT THE FAMILY INSTITUTION AND ITS CHANGE;

THEY WILL HAVE ACQUIRED THE ABILITY TO APPLY THE THEORY TO THE ANALYSIS OF LOCAL AND GLOBAL SOCIAL PHENOMENA, ALSO THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF PERSONAL WORK;

THEY WILL TACKLE CRITICAL THE SOCIOLOGICAL THEORIES CONSTANTLY SOLICITED BY SOCIAL DYNAMICS; THEY WILL ALSO BE CAPABLE OF INTERPRETING IN AN AUTONOMOUS WAY DATA AND INFORMATIONS AND TO SET UP ELEMENTARY SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS;

THEY WILL INTERACT WITH THE SOCIAL CHANGE DYNAMICS THAT AFFECT THE CONTEMPORARY FAMILIES AND WILL HAVE ACQUIRED THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE CLEARLY THE CONCLUSIONS REACHED IN THE ANALYSIS OF PHENOMENA TO THEIR STAKEHOLDERS;

THEY WILL HAVE THE NECESSARY LEARNING SKILLS TO UNDERTAKE FURTHER AUTONOMOUS STUDIES IN THE FIELD OF SOCIOLOGY APPLIED TO SPECIFIC SECTORS AND ESPECIALLY TO THE FIELD OF FAMILY.

DISCUSSIONS OF ANY PAPERS OF THE STUDENTS DEVELOPED DURING THE COURSE, THROUGH WHICH IT WILL BE EVALUATED NOT ONLY THE KNOWLEDGE BUT ALSO EXPRESSIVE SKILLS WITH THE CLARITY OF EXPOSITION.
