Objectives
THIS COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE THE THEORETICAL AND TECHNICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR TEACHING EDUCATION THROUGH MOVEMENT IN DIFFERENT EDUCATIONAL CONTEXTS, BUT WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO BODY AND MOVEMENT EDUCATION IN DEVELOPMENTAL AGE.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: THE COURSE PROVIDES THE NOTIONS AND METHODOLOGICAL TOOLS NECESSARY TO KNOW THE THEORETICAL PRINCIPLES OF TEACHING THE BODY IN MOVEMENT AND THE PHYSIO-NEUROLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE ON WHICH THIS THEORY IS BASED.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: STUDENTS LEARN TO APPLY THE NOTIONS LEARNED TO THE CORRECT DESIGN OF SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS DANCE AND PLAY.
AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENT WILL HAVE TO DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO APPLY AND INTERPRET THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED WHICH ARE ESSENTIAL TO DEVELOP A COMPETENT PROFESSIONAL APPROACH TO DIDACTIC-EDUCATIONAL-SPORTING WORK.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENT MUST SHOW AN ADEQUATE LEVEL OF COMMUNICATION SKILLS, USING THE SPECIFIC VOCABULARY OF THE DISCIPLINE IN AN APPROPRIATE WAY AND SHOWING HIMSELF CAPABLE OF ARGUING HIS OWN IDEAS WITH CONSISTENCY.

THE COURSE IS THE FIRST APPROACH TO THE DISCIPLINES. THERE IS NO PREREQUISITE.

Teaching Methods
THE TEACHING USES THE FOLLOWING METHODOLOGIES:
-LECTURES ON BROAD TOPICS FOLLOWED BY DISCUSSION WITH STUDENTS.
- LESSONS THAT GIVE OPERATIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND OFFER EXERCISES AND PROBLEMS ON WHICH THE STUDENT WILL BE INVITED TO EXPERIENCE THE LEARNING ACHIEVED.
CLASSROOM EXERCISES, SIMULATIONS, DESIGN EXPERIENCES ARE ALSO PROVIDED.
Verification of learning
THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE TEACHING OBJECTIVES IS CERTIFIED BY PASSING AN EXAM WITH
EVALUATION OUT OF THIRTY. THE EXAM INCLUDES A MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST.
THE WRITTEN TEST AIMS TO EVALUATE THE THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED BY THE STUDENT. IT HAS A DURATION OF 30 MINUTES,
IN WHICH THE STUDENT HAS TO TAKE A QUIZ CONSISTING OF 35 MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS. THE FINAL GRADE IS AWARDED OUT OF THIRTY. THE EXAM IS PASSED WHEN THE GRADE IS GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO
18. IT IS FORESEEN THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE HIGHEST MARKS WITH HONORS (30 WITH HONORS).
PRE-APPEAL TESTS CAN BE AGREED WITH THE CLASS IN ORDER TO LIGHTEN THE FINAL EXAM.
