Objectives
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES: THE COURSE AIMS TO OFFER STUDENTS CONCEPTUAL AND THEORETICAL ASSUMPTIONS, ACCORDING TO THE DIALOGIC METHOD, TO ADDRESS EMERGING SOCIAL PROBLEMS THAT ARE PARTICULARLY RELEVANT TO THEIR PROFESSIONAL FUTURE IN THE LIGHT OF CONTEMPORARY PHILOSOPHICAL DEBATE.
EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: KNOWING THE PHILOSOPHICAL DOCTRINES THAT THOROUGHLY ANALYZE THE ISSUES OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AND THEIR CURRENT EVOLUTION IN THE LIGHT OF THE PROBLEMS RELATED TO CONFLICT AND / OR INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: BEING ABLE TO ANALYZE SOCIO-POLITICAL PROBLEMS AND, THANKS TO THE CONCEPT OF "DIALOGUE", FORM THOUGHTFUL JUDGMENTS ON THE PROBLEMS INHERENT IN INCLUSION TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE CONTEMPORARY PHILOSOPHICAL DISCUSSION ON THE SUBJECT.

DIALOGUE TODAY IS THE CONSTANT REFERENCE OF VARIOUS HUMANISTIC DISCIPLINES AND THE PIVOT OF MANY OF THE SO-CALLED PHILOSOPHICAL PRACTICES. FREQUENT IS ALSO THE REFERENCE, BY AUTHORS AND CURRENT TRENDS, TO "SOCRATES" AS A WITNESS OF A "DIALOGIC MODALITY OF COMMUNICATING", BELIEVED TODAY MORE THAN EVER NECESSARY AND USEFUL. HERE WE TRY FIRST OF ALL TO VERIFY IN A NOT GENERIC, BUT PRECISE WAY, WHAT CAN BE UNDERSTOOD BY "DIALOGUE" REFERRING BOTH TO BIRTH, BETWEEN THE END OF THE 5TH AND THE BEGINNING OF THE 4TH CENTURY. BC, OF THE LITERARY GENRE OF "SOKRATIKÒS LÒGOS", TO WHICH THE SAME PLATONIC DIALOGUES BELONG, BOTH TO TWENTIETH-CENTURY VEINS THAT PIVOT EITHER ON DIALOGUE (DIALOGIC THINKING) OR ON THE 'SOCRATIC METHOD' (NELSONIAN SCHOOL) OR ON THE DIALOGIC EXCHANGE ITSELF (MORINEAU AND MEDIATION THEORY). SOME OF THE 'SOCRATES' OF THE 1900S ARE THEN TAKEN UP, ESPECIALLY THOSE THINKERS (ARENDT, PATOCKA, HADOT, NUSSBAUM) WHO, FROM DIFFERENT POINTS OF VIEW AND WITH DIFFERENT INTENTIONS, VALUE THE DIALOGIC METHOD, AS AN EXPRESSION OF HUMAN NATURE, THE METHOD OF PHILOSOPHICAL REASONING OR MEANS OF A DEMOCRATIC EDUCATION.

Verification of learning
THE VERIFICATION OF LEARNING WILL BE CARRIED OUT THROUGH AN ORAL INTERVIEW - ACCORDING TO THE RULES PROVIDED BY THE EDUCATIONAL OFFER OF THE COURSE OF STUDIES. THE INTERVIEW WILL CONCERN THE TOPICS THAT WERE THE SUBJECT OF THE COURSE LESSONS. AT THE END OF THE LESSONS THE TEACHER WILL DELIVER A LIST OF QUESTIONS ON WHICH THE EXAM TEST WILL BE ARTICULATED.
THE DURATION OF THE TEST WILL BE ABOUT 20 MINUTES AND THREE QUESTIONS WILL BE ASKED BETWEEN THOSE IN THE LIST.
