Objectives
THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS COURSE IS TO GIVE A GENERAL AND COMPREHENSIVE OVERWIEW OF THE POLITICAL, SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC PROBLEMS FROM 1815 TO NOWADAYS IN AN INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE (KNOWLWDGE AND UNDERSTANDING). STUDENTS WILL LEARN TO APPLY HISTORICAL METHODOLOGY TO INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS IN THE XIX-XX CENTURIES (APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING) AND TO ASSES IN A CRITICAL WAY THE POLITICAL, SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC PROCESSES OF THE PERIOD(MAKING JUDGMENTS). STUDENTS WILL LEARN HOW TO EFFECTIVELY ORGANIZE IDEAS BOTH IN WRITTEN AND ORAL FORM (COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS). THIS COURSE WILL ENABLE STUDENTS TO UNDERSTAND THE TRAINING AND THE CHANGING GEO-POLITICAL BALANCE OF POWER FROM THE EUROPEAN HEGEMONY TO THE END OF THE BIPOLAR(LEARNING SKILLS).
