Objectives
TO PROVIDE THE CONCEPTUAL TOOLS FOR THE SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD.

ABILITY TO IDENTIFY THE SOCIAL DIMENSION OF ECONOMIC, POLITICAL, INSTITUTIONAL PHENOMENA THAT ARE TYPICAL OF CONTEMPORARY SOCIETIES, MUCH AS THE ADVANCED AS THE RELATIVELY LESS DEVELOPED ONES.

APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING

Verification of learning
THE EXAM WILL CONSIST IN AN TALK ON THE COURSE CONTENTS. PARTICIPATION IN EXERCISES (WITH ATTRIBUTION OF VOTING) MAY PRODUCE EXEMPTION FROM A PART OF THE PROGRAM AND IT IS OPTIONAL.
PART 4 OF THE EXAMINATION PROGRAMME IS OPTIONAL FOR STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2016-2017.
