EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE THE BASIC QUANTITAIVE TOOLS THAT ALLOW TO DESCRIBE AND ANALYZE DATA FROM UNIVARIATE AND BIVARIATE CENSUS AND SAMPLE SURVEY. AT THE END OF THE COURSE STUDENTS: (KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING) - HAVE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, WITH THE SUPPORT OF TEXT BOOKS, ABOUT THE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF METHODS AND TECHNIQUES FOR THE ANALYSIS OF DATA AND FOR THE TREATMENT OF DATA FROM SAMPLE SURVEYS. (ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING) - HAVE ACQUIRED SKILLS AND OPERATIONAL PRACTICES RELATING TO THE COLLECTION, TREATMENT, MEASUREMENT AND INTERPRETATION OF SOCIAL PHENOMENA; - HAVE ACQUIRED THE ABILITY TO PLAN, ORGANIZE AND MANAGE STATISTICAL DATABASE. (JUDGEMENT) - HAVE ACQUIRED THE ABILITY TO INTERPRET DATA AND INFORMATION.
