Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO OFFER ADEQUATE METHOD TOOLS AND IN-DEPTH ELEMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE USEFUL FOR A CORRECT HISTORICAL-CRITICAL RECOGNITION OF ONE OR MORE PARTICULARLY SIGNIFICANT ASPECTS OF THE FIGURATIVE PRODUCTION OF EUROPEAN COUNTRIES, SPECIFICALLY CORRELATED TO THE ITALIAN CONTEXT, IN THE MODERN AGE.

-- WILL CONSOLIDATE THE HISTORICAL-CRITICAL EVALUATION SKILLS OF ARTISTIC PRODUCTS THROUGH THE COMPARATIVE STUDY OF PAINTING, SCULPTURE AND ARCHITECTURE WORKS IN THE ITALIAN AND EUROPEAN AREA IN THE MODERN AGE;
-- WILL ACQUIRE FURTHER AND HIGHER KNOWLEDGE IN THE USE OF THE SOURCES NECESSARY FOR THE STUDY OF ART HISTORY.

-- WILL BE ABLE TO RECONSTRUCT STRUCTERED AND COMPLEX PRODUCTION CONTEXTS AND TO INSERT THIS ARTISTIC PRODUCTION WITHIN WIDER AND INTERFERING HISTORICAL-CULTURAL AREAS;
-- WILL BE ABLE TO OFFER A CORRECT AND MORE SPECIFIC READING OF PARTICULARLY SIGNIFICANT WORKS OF ART, THROUGH AN APPROPRIATE HISTORICAL AND GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION AND TO IDENTIFY THE OWN LANGUAGE OF THE MAIN ARTISTS ACTIVE IN ITALY AND IN EUROPE, IN THE SUBMITTED CRONOLOGICAL RANGE;
-- WILL BE ABLE TO DEVELOP METHODS AND KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED IN CONTEXTS RELATED TO THE MANAGEMENT AND ENHANCEMENT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE AND IN THE ORGANIZATION OF EFFECTIVE EDUCATIONAL ACTIONS.

GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF EUROPEAN GEOGRAPHY AND MODERN AGE HISTORY.
