GENERAL LEARNING OUTCOMES: THE COURSE PROVIDES TO THE STUDENTS THE INSTRUMENTS NECESSARY TO COMPREHEND THE BIRTH AND THE EVOLUTION OF ARTISTIC LITERATURE THROUGH THE STUDY OF THE MAIN TEST SOURCES FROM THE RESTORATION TO THE TWENTIETH CENTURY. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO MASTER THE TECHNICAL VOCABULARY, THE NOTIONS AND THE CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE. SHE/HE WILL KNOW HOW TO UNDERSTAND THE MAIN TEXTS OF ARTISTIC LITERATURE OF THE MODERN AGE APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: THROUGH THE COURSE THE STUDENT: WILL KNOW HOW TO APPLY A CORRECT METHODOLOGY OF CRITICAL ANALYSIS TO THE HISTORICAL ARTISTIC SOURCES. WILL KNOW HOW TO FRAME THE HISTORICAL ARTISTIC SOURCES IN THEIR CULTURAL CONTEXT. WILL KNOW HOW TO UNDERSTAND THE LINKS BETWEEN HISTORICAL ARTISTIC SOURCES AND ARTISTIC HERITAGE. MAKING JUDGMENTS: THE STUDENT WILL DEVELOP CONCEPTUAL TOOLS AND CRITICAL SKILLS USEFUL FOR EVALUATING, ANALYZING AND AUTONOMOUSLY INTERPRETING THE SOURCES AND METHODOLOGICAL ISSUES SPECIFIC TO THIS, AS WELL AS TO OTHER AESTHETIC AND PHILOSOPHICAL DISCIPLINES. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: THE STUDENT WILL COMMUNICATE HIS KNOWLEDGE AND CONCEPTUAL PROCESSING SKILLS AT DIFFERENT LEVELS (TO BOTH AN AUDIENCE OF EXPERTS AND NON-SPECIALISTS), EXPRESSING WITH LANGUAGE EXACTNESS AND SPECIFIC VOCABULARY, AND USING THE MOST APPROPRIATE REGISTER TO EACH CIRCUMSTANCE. LEARNING SKILLS: THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND AND INTERPRET COMPLEX TEXTS AND USE BIBLIOGRAPHIC TOOLS, BOTH TRADITIONAL AND DIGITAL, TO IDENTIFY AND SELECT THE SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE USEFUL FOR INCREASING THEIR KNOWLEDGE. |
